That moment when you realise you’re not as strong of a feminist as you thought you were. As a straight guy when you watch an educational video on the female orgasm, you will probably feel uncomfortable. Yes you know the statistics and the stories but you think you’re better than the them.

The realisation cums (no pun intended) when you’re made aware that it was never about you IE: men in the first place. Then you try to tackle the fact, that for once, you’re not the centre of attention.

To many that may seem like a threat, to others it is liberating. What every straight man needs to realise is that the preconceived notion of masculinity go way beyond your dad teaching you to shave or what player to transfer into your football fantasy.

Masculinity is about being comfortable in the body you’re in and understanding how others may feel about it as well. You may make people uncomfortable just by being there. It isn’t strictly your fault but that’s something you have to deal with. I promise you, anyone who isnt a straight guy is dealing with way worse, hearing them out won’t hurt you or your fantasy football.
